If ever there were a ‘popular’ wine, this would be it. Cabernet Sauvignon’s deep, intense personality can make one go weak in the knees. It is harvested across the world. But warmer climes and varied soils make it more interesting, adding to its character. Like the Nasik valley in India, where our grape originates from.
Our Cabernet Sauvignon is a luscious, ruby red, with purple tints glinting in the light.
The intense colour is accompanied by equally intense and complex spice notes. It is a heady mix of sharp eucalyptus, sweet fruit and fragrant oak.
The inviting aromas tempt you to take a sip. And if you let the flavours linger, you can sense the rich and full-bodied glory of the wine. The velvety tannins leave a dry sensation at the back of your mouth.
A big wine like this deserves food that is big on flavours. Like spicy Indian meat dishes, and strong, pungent cheeses. Or something more contemporary like burgers and pizzas. Never pair it with chocolate.
Serve it chilled at 16-18ºC. Available in 750 and 375 ml bottles
