The Winemaker Notes
Varietal Details
Our Viognier began as a limited single-vineyard wine, crafted from an unexpected harvest at the Big Banyan Vineyard in Bengaluru. Realizing the potential of adaptation to the Indian soil, we discovered a vineyard in the Nashik region that produces some of the finest expressions of this varietal.
Fermentation Control
The Picker’s Hand Viognier is fermented in stainless steel tanks for 30 days at a temperature below 15°C. The wine is then aged in the tanks for 8 - 10 months.
Oak Integration
There is no oak integration, allowing the floral aromas and varietal character of the Viognier to be fully maintained in the wine.
